About this role

Sysco is seeking a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician II to ensure the safety and reliability of their fleet through preventive maintenance and expert repairs. This role involves diagnosing and fixing a wide range of vehicle systems to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

What we are looking for

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment
Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) for tractors, trailers, and other fleet vehicles
Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
Address driver vehicle inspection report write-ups promptly
Maintain detailed work orders and learn Sysco's computer programs
Utilize diagnostic software and provide necessary tools for repairs
