Lead Analyst Investment Reporting

Empower is seeking a Lead Analyst for Investment Reporting to oversee and review financial reporting for investment portfolios. This role involves preparing and coordinating financial statements, researching new disclosures, and ensuring consistency across reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5-7 years of financial reporting experience.

• Oversee and review U.S. Statutory, U.S. GAAP, Canadian GAAP, regulatory, tax, and Board financial reporting for investment portfolios
• Prepare and review quarterly/annual statutory NAIC state financial reporting, supplements, annual audited financial statements, and surveys
• Coordinate investment presentation in financial statements and ensure consistency
• Research and propose new disclosures and modifications to reports in response to new pronouncements and guidelines
• Interpret new pronouncements and guidelines and recommend appropriate changes to accounting systems
• Coordinate audits for Investments and explain Company’s position
