Corporate Development Consultant

Absa is seeking a Corporate Development Consultant to manage and execute our strategic Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) agenda. You will be responsible for originating and executing deals, ensuring proper governance, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of M&A processes, financial analysis, and deal structuring.

• Develop and manage the group's strategic M&A agenda
• Evaluate and prepare valuations for acquisition/disposal/JV business cases
• Oversee due diligence and lead deal structuring
• Negotiate key terms and legal documentation
• Manage insider lists and engage advisors
• Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience in M&A
