About this role

Join CIBC's Mid-Market Investment Banking team as an Analyst, supporting M&A advisory for companies with enterprise values between $10 million and $150 million. You will conduct industry research, build financial models, and assist in preparing client proposals and information memorandums, playing a key role in executing mandates for privately-owned Canadian companies.

What we are looking for

Assist senior bankers in executing M&A advisory mandates
Conduct industry research, valuation analysis, and financial modeling
Prepare client proposals, pitch books, and confidential information memorandums
Develop subject matter expertise in mid-market M&A trends
Collaborate with internal teams and support business development efforts
1-2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Commercial Banking, or Investment Banking
