Grounds Custodian

Maintain County properties and facilities by performing daily grounds care, landscaping, and general upkeep. This role involves operating equipment, ensuring safety, and responding to maintenance needs under supervision.

• Perform daily grounds care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and clearing
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly outdoor spaces by removing litter and debris
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles
• Assist with irrigation systems and seasonal tasks like snow removal
• Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain records of work completed and communicate issues to supervisors
