Principal Asset Consultant

Lead the development of strategic and economic analyses for Xcel Energy's electric and gas assets. You will provide expert financial and operational insights to leadership, driving recommendations for investment, operational improvements, and market strategies to create value for customers and shareholders. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and mentoring junior analysts.

• Develop and execute strategic and economic analyses for asset portfolios
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on asset value and strategy
• Quantify risk profiles and identify strategies to increase asset portfolio value
• Provide project management support for strategic asset initiatives
• Mentor and guide Senior Asset Analysts
• 8+ years of financial modeling experience in a utility or similar industry
