The Management Consulting Team at Teneo Our Management Consulting division focuses on answering key strategic questions for business leaders through our mix of senior experience and rigorous analysis, combined with the unique expertise that exists across Teneo. We operate across a diverse array of sectors including Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Leisure & Hospitality, Software, Transport, and TMT, amongst others. Within these markets, we provide strategic, operational, and due diligence support, advising reputable Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 firms, key public-sector organizations, and leading private equity houses. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering strategic, data-driven solutions for clients. Working closely with clients, senior leaders, and project teams, you will help solve complex business challenges, drive project execution, and contribute to meaningful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead workstreams and support case delivery across core consulting activities, including research, analysis, insight generation, technical execution, and overall delivery • Apply strong consulting judgment and case skills to develop well-supported recommendations from initial hypothesis through refinement, validation, and final output • Manage discrete workstreams or smaller cases directly, with support from Managers, Directors, or Managing Directors as needed • Operate independently while maintaining high standards of quality, sound judgment, and attention to detail • Lead client-ready presentations and communicate conclusions clearly and confidently to internal and external stakeholders • Plan, delegate, and manage day-to-day team workload, providing clear direction, thoughtful delegation, and coaching support • Actively coach junior team members and contribute to their development through feedback, mentoring, and hands-on support • Serve as a day-to-day liaison with client teams, building trusted relationships through responsive communication, empathy, and high-quality delivery • Identify and escalate client issues or concerns appropriately, using sound judgment and an understanding of client priorities • Contribute to business development efforts and broader internal initiatives within Teneo Management Consulting Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required • 3-4+ years of relevant consulting experience, including experience managing multiple workstreams or smaller cases • Experience applying a broad consulting toolkit to solve a diverse range of client challenges across industries and functions • Strong analytical, numerical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, well-supported insights • Entrepreneurial and creative problem-solver who can operate at pace, take on unfamiliar tasks, and deliver high-quality work • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to influence others, challenge constructively, and work effectively in teams • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, including experience leading client presentations and negotiations • Track record of coaching and developing team members • Experience contributing to business development and internal team initiatives What We Offer As a Teneo employee, you'll enjoy unique benefits including flexible time off policy; medical, dental, and vision coverage; long-term disability and life insurance; a 401K plan; commuter benefits; team events; snacks; and other perks. Base Salary Range $167,000 – $195,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed). Bonus Eligible Yes Total Compensation Package Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits and rewards. Hybrid Flexible Work Policy Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible. If you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three times a week.
What we are looking for
