Sr. Financial Analyst

Talen Energy is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station near Berwick, Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting with budget development, performing financial analysis and forecasting for station operations and capital expenditures, and reconciling accounting issues. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

• Assist in data collection and consolidation for annual budget development
• Perform financial analysis and prepare monthly forecasts for O&M and Capital
• Analyze accounting issues and reconcile discrepancies
• Develop routine financial reports and explain budget/forecast variances
• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions
• Meet requirements for security clearance necessary for site access
