About this role

Mercer is seeking a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant in Richmond, VA, to manage consulting engagements for large employers. You will negotiate with carriers, develop benefit strategies, and drive new business opportunities.

What we are looking for

Manage complex client engagements including service delivery, strategy, and financial evaluations
Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies
Negotiate with benefits carriers and vendors
Accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts
Minimum 5 years of experience in health care benefit plans
Client-facing experience in a consulting capacity
