Associate, PhD - Economics Focus (2027)

The Brattle Group seeks PhD economists to join our Chicago office as Associates. In this role, you will apply economic theory and quantitative analysis to high-profile litigation, corporate strategy, and regulatory matters for global clients. You will frame research, manage projects, and supervise teams, with opportunities for client interaction and business development.

• PhD in Economics or related field with strong quantitative analysis foundation
• Apply economic theory to complex litigation, strategy, and regulatory issues
• Frame research approaches and manage projects
• Supervise teams and develop client relationships
• Proficiency in STATA, R, Excel, and practical problem-solving
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
