Senior Budget Analyst (Hybrid)

NiSource is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to manage daily operations and maintenance (O&M) budget tracking, monthly reporting, and reconciliation. This hybrid role involves forecasting departmental budgets, preparing variance reports, and acting as an internal consultant on budget matters. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills and experience in finance or accounting.

• Prepare and monitor departmental O&M budgets
• Track and forecast expenditures to prevent budget overruns
• Prepare monthly budget variance reports
• Act as an internal consultant on budget matters
• Review departmental expenditures and recommend cost reductions
• Prepare annual financial plan
